Our Team

Fiona Zawadzki, B.A. (Hons.), B.Ed.

Fiona, Founder and Director of Skye Consulting, is a certified teacher with over 25 years of curriculum development and facilitation experience.  She specializes in developing and facilitating educational program initiatives; designing and presenting teacher and classroom volunteer training workshops; and managing school and placed-based events for a variety of topics including sustainability, health, financial literacy, and career development.

Diana Klein, B.Sc., P.Eng., LEED AP BD+C

Diana, Principal of Skye Consulting and Co-Executive Director of GreenBricks, is a sustainable design consultant with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in the design of sustainable buildings. Diana founded her sustainable design practice, Eco-Integration, in 2006. She consults on sustainable building design for projects as well as develops and facilitates on educational programming around sustainable building design. Diana is passionate about green building and sustainability education as understanding and experiencing solutions will help build a critical mass of people who can enact the change our world needs.

Kathryn Wynn Dulvy, NVQ 4

Kathryn, Educator of Skye Consulting, is an international scientific expedition leader and youth sustainability education specialist. She has worked in youth development, particularly in the teaching of life skills and environmental awareness for the past twenty years. She has taught in schools, field centres and youth expeditions. These expeditions have spanned four continents, ranging from the Hindu Kush in Pakistan to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Alongside her teaching, she also worked as a research assistant and logistics manager on scientific expeditions in Tanzania and Fiji. Before moving to BC, she was a Personal Advisor for a UK government agency (Connexions) wherein Kathryn provided advice and guidance and more substantial one-to-one support for vulnerable young people aged 13-19.

Karly Pinch, B.A.

Karly, Educator of Skye Consulting, is an environmental educator and organic farmer, with a BA in International Relations. She has taught children, youth and adults in the areas of climate change and sustainability for over 5 years, as well as having worked in program coordination with a number of environmental and farming related non-profit organizations. She has lived and worked in Japan and Cameroon, but always calls Vancouver home.

Jessica Jones, B.E.S.

Jessica, Educator of Skye Consulting, is a teacher and entrepreneur within the sustainability industry, specialising in sustainable agriculture. After completing her degree in Physical Geography from the University of Waterloo, Jessica dedicated herself to sustainable agriculture through: owning her own vegetable and oyster mushroom farm for 2 years, teaching youth about urban gardening, and leading a Plant Science team at a hydroponics start-up. Jessica has 6 years of teaching experience in a diversity of roles and environments in Ontario and BC. Outside of the classroom, Jessica owns her own business, where she empowers folks with the knowledge and skills to grow their own food with garden education.

 Marisa Lenarduzzi, Dip (Design & Development)

Marisa, in-house graphic designer of Skye Consulting, is a creative designer who infuses her designs with her passion for nature, drawing inspiration from her love for the outdoors and landscaping. She received her diploma in Digital Design and Development with distinction, with expertise in graphic and web design, coding, and marketing. Marisa's artistic prowess and problem-solving skills allow her to create impactful messages, and her dedication to sustainability resonates with her environmental passion. She is committed to creating compelling visuals that tell a client's story.

Josie Klein, B.A.

Josie, Educator of Skye Consulting, is an enthusiastic educator and fierce advocate for social responsibility and Indigenous rights. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in French and Anthropology in 2018. Since graduating, she has been working as an Education Coordinator creating personalized education plans for children and youth. Josie also works as a child and youth care worker providing emotional support for youth living in a residential treatment program. Josie is committed to implementing Indigenous practices and challenging exclusive and harmful policies.

Nicola Zawadzki, BCom

Nicola, Educator of Skye Consulting, is a passionate educator who loves mentoring youth to adopt the greener side of life! Nicola completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Victoria and is working towards her goal of combining her love of sustainable entrepreneurship and education. Nicola has operated her own successful tutoring business for years and enjoys finding creative ways to teach her students. Having earned her black belt in judo recently, she was selected as a coach for Judo in the past BC Winter Games.
